About the Author

Scott Hobson, author of Breakfast for the Brain and THINKology, is an educational consultant, speaker and author who presents high quality workshops to educators and parents at conferences at the national, state and local levels. With over 25 years of experience in education, Mr. Hobson has served as Principal, Assistant Principal, and Master Teacher. Scott has mentored aspiring administrators, as well as trained teachers and parents in better ways to help children learn. Scott has developed unique teaching strategies that connect critical thinking, writing and the love of learningall for the purpose of enhancing student performance and accountability.

Nathan Levy, a former teacher and principal, is the author of over forty books, including the famous Stories With Holes series. Nathan travels extensively both nationally and internationally presenting dynamic workshops to educators and parents on a variety of topics, including how to help children be better critical thinkers and writers.

 

Nathan S. Levy is a sought after author and international public speaker. Drawing on his experiences as a dynamic New York City teacher, successful school principal in rural Connecticut and suburban New Jersey, district gifted coordinator, author of over 50 books, Mr Levy makes audiences laugh, applaud and pay extreme attention when he speaks about improving the thinking,learning and communication skills of adults and children. His 20 volume Stories With Holes series and 6 volume Intriguing Questions series are used by children and adults alike all over the world. 

 

When consulting to parent and/or professional educator groups Mr Levy pulls practical activities from his 4 book Not Just Schoolwork series, his 6 book Whose Clues series and 2 book Thinking and Writing Activities for the Brain series to help participants leave with specific strategies for helping childeren become successful writers, thinkers and learners.

 

Currently Nathan continues to be very much involved as an author, public speaker and mentor to people starting out in business and/or trying to become more effective as school and district administrators. Nathan has substituted his desires to be a professional basketball or football player with the desire to help make the world a better and more literate place.
